What makes a love story film different from a reel is that it uses your voices. Before filming we record a short conversation — how you met, what this trip is — on lapel microphones somewhere quiet, often the hotel room, and that audio carries the 3–4 minute film, with the pictures cut around it. Ninety seconds of conversation is usually enough; nobody has to give a speech, and if one of you would rather not talk on camera, the film can carry one voice. The 60-second vertical reel is made from the same footage.

Two hours allows two settings with a change of clothes: an evening walk in Old Dubai and sunset on the beach, or the dunes at golden hour followed by the first lights of the city. Keep affection low-key in busy places — holding hands and close framing work fine, and a private beach or the desert is the place for anything more. Plain clothes in colours that suit each other film better than patterns, which flicker on video. The reel is ready in 3 to 5 days and the film in 2 to 3 weeks.

### Do we have to talk on camera?

No. Most love stories are music only. If you want your own words in it, write each other a short letter and we record you reading it before or after the shoot, somewhere quiet.
