## Photos you will actually use

A personal brand library needs three kinds of image, and the thirty minutes are split between them: clean portraits for a website and a speaker bio, working shots that show what you do — at a laptop, with a client, on a stage — and details such as hands, tools and notebooks that fill the gaps in a layout. You get twenty edited photos, several of them framed with space on one side for text.

In Dubai the natural settings are DIFC, Dubai Design District and the hotel lobbies along Sheikh Zayed Road, and almost all of it is private property: a short portrait session is usually tolerated outside, but a coworking space or hotel lounge has to be asked first. Plan one outfit, smart but relaxed, in plain colours, and avoid white against the pale stone of DIFC. Outdoor light along Sheikh Zayed Road turns harsh by mid-morning, so an outdoor session is booked early, or held indoors.
