The gallery is grouped by the kind of shoot rather than by date, because that is how anyone looking for a photographer actually browses: you want to see couples, or families, or a desert session, and you want to see them in the place you are going to be. What the gallery is for is calibration. A dozen desert sessions show what the dunes do in the last hour — low side-light, long shadows, how a red dress reads against orange sand — and whether that is what you want. A summer frame from the Marina shows the haze that sits on the coast from June to September. Both are more useful questions than whether the photographs are good.
