On video the problem is sound. A hidden camera thirty metres away can see the moment but cannot hear it, so a small wireless microphone goes on the person proposing — clipped inside a collar and switched on before the walk to the spot. That gives you the full, uncut moment with every word, delivered alongside a 2-minute edited film and a 30-second vertical reel.
The hour is split between the surprise itself and filming the two of you afterwards, once the nerves have gone. Places with constant background noise — the Dubai Fountain show, breaking waves, a busy promenade — need the microphone even more; a quiet dune or a yacht deck after sunset is easier. Agree the signal and the exact mark in advance, and walk the route once beforehand if you can. Hotels and observation decks may restrict professional cameras, which we check before the date. The reel arrives in 3 to 5 days, the film in 2 to 3 weeks.
