The route
You meet the photographer on the Souk Al Bahar side while the plaza is still dim. The first frames use the blue light: the spire against a pale sky, and the lake flat enough to hold a reflection, because at this hour the fountain is silent. When the sun clears the horizon it reaches the top of the tower first and slides down floor by floor, so the photographer keeps you in one place and photographs the change instead of chasing new backgrounds. Your face stays in soft shade while the glass behind you brightens — even light on skin, a glowing tower. Once the gold has reached the lower floors, you cross the bridge for full-length frames that are impossible later in the day, with nobody in the background.
